This riding is located in the southwest corner of the province, bordered by Lake Erie to the south and the Thames River to the north.

The major urban centres are the cities of Leamington, Wheatley, Chatham, Blenheim, Tilbury, and Ridgetown. Point Pelee National Park, Rondeau Provincial Park and the Moravian Indian Reserve are all included in the riding.
